It has been just over 6 weeks, since I had Laparoscopic Surgery for a Bilateral Inguinal Hernia operation. Mr Nicola de Liguori Carino was my surgeon, and I couldn’t have wished for anyone better. From the first consultation I was made to feel at ease and totally confident with the procedure. I had some questions and a few uncertainties about the surgery, that probably weren’t normally asked. However Mr de Liguori Carino said he would look into this and get back to me, and true to his word he did just that. I haven’t rushed my recovery and followed the instructions. The incisions have healed really well, and will be barely noticeable in a month or so. What an excellent surgeon, thank you Mr de Liguori Carino and the team at BMI Highfield Hospital..

At my first meeting with Mr De' Ligouri Carino I found him to be courteous, approachable and informative about my symptoms and the surgical procedure he intended to undertake. I found this reassuring. Following registration and comfortable preparation at The Highfield Hospital on 17 August 2019 I was informed that surgery would need to re-arranged at a future date. Mr De' Ligouri Carino was most apologetic and he perfomed the procedure on Saturday 19 August 2019. Aftercare and personal attention at The Highfield was excellent. I attended an appointment with Mr De' Ligouri Carino on 28 November 2019 where he was equally responsive to my questions about the surgery and following an examination he gave me permission to resume my normal physical activity. I have the highest regard for Mr De' Ligouri Carino.

Clearly a talented surgeon who spends quality time explaining any necessary procedures with his patient. I had a hernia re-occurrence and though a mild case, Mr De'Liguori was keen to explain what had occurred and what options I had for rectifying the problem. I had full confidence in Mr De'Liguori carrying out the procedure which has been borne out with a successful operation and a so far straightforward recovery.

I feel exceptionally lucky that Mr Nicola de’Liguori Carino is my consultant. After I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer Mr De’ Liguori has explained everything relating to my diagnosis in a way I perfectly understand. I think this is extremely important and most professional and also most reassuring to a person who has been diagnosed with cancer, that everything is explained in a manner that the patient understands. I find Mr De’ Liguori extremely approachable, which i think is extremely important from a patients perception. I continue to make a remarkable recovery after major surgery, I obviously highly recommend Mr De’ Liguori as a surgeon. Not only do I respect as a Consultant Surgeon , I also respect the way that you feel at ease and relaxed, a extremely Brilliant Professional and a extremely Brilliant man. One of the things I like so much with Mr De’Liguori is his Brilliant sense of humour , I find it to be most welcoming and really makes me feel at ease. Thank you Mr De’ Liguori from myself and my family.
